ALISO VIEJO, Calif. - The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) proudly announced that Audrey Salvador will join the conference staff as the Athletics Leadership Development Intern for the 2025-26 academic year.

"We are thrilled to welcome Audrey to our team here at the CCAA," said CCAA Commissioner Allen Hardison. "As a former student-athlete in our conference, Audrey brings a unique perspective as we continue to scale our operations. I know her background in communications and sport management will help bring our engagement platforms to life."

Salvador graduated from Sonoma State University in Spring 2025 with her Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies. She is a former member of the Sonoma State softball team, playing for the Seawolves in 2022 and 2023 as an outfielder.

While earning her undergraduate degree, Salvador pursued many opportunities on campus. One of these included working as Creative Media Director with the SSU Athletic Department, where she helped increase profile visits by more than 400 percent by using strategic content planning and driving audience engagement. Salvador also worked as an Account Executive with Primitivo Public Relations and as a Program Director for Sirious Baseball.

"As someone who got their start as a student-athlete in this conference, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to the CCAA in a new role," said Audrey Salvador. "This internship allows me to grow as a leader while contributing to the continued success of the conference by supporting student-athletes and helping to elevate the CCAA's presence across all 12 institutions."

In addition to serving as the CCAA intern, Salvador is earning her Master's degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco and is a Graduate Assistant of Game Operations with the Dons.

This will be the fourth year of the CCAA Athletics Leadership Development Internship program.
