WALNUT CREEK – San Francisco State's Megan Johnson has been named the Molten/California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 22-28.
Senior Megan Johnson was a key player in the Gators' home victories over Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus last weekend.
The Riverside native hit at a scorching .481 pace in two matches with 27 kills on a combined 52 attempts with just two errors. Johnson hit a season-best of .571 against the visiting Warriors after blasting a match-high of 12 kills on 21 swings with no errors.
The outside hitter also collected 20 digs (2.86/set), six blocks, two assists, and a service ace to wrap up her weekend totals.
