Karenee Demery, Cal State Stanislaus
WALNUT CREEK – Cal State Stanislaus' Karenee Demery has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 22-28.
The junior forward scored her third hat trick of the season and fourth of her career to help the Warriors win a thrilling overtime match over Chico State on Friday night.
In the 3-2 win over the Wildcats, the Merced native challanged the visiting defense after connecting for a .714 (5-for-7) shot-on-goal percentage.
To wrap up the weekend, Demery scored tallied six points and had a .500 (6-for-12) shot-on-goal percentage.
