Taylor Vigil, Sonoma State
WALNUT CREEK – Sonoma State's Taylor Vigil has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 19-25.
The senior guard averaged 18 points per game in the Seawolves 1-1 week against CCAA-foe San Francisco State.
Vigil scored a career-high of 24 points in SSU's 70-60 win on Saturday night. She shot a perfect 12-for-12 from the floor, while tallying five rebounds, four steals, two blocked shots, and two assists in the weekend finale win.
For the week, the Brentwood native shot 81 percent (17-for-21 from the floor with 36 points, nine rebounds, five steals, four assists, and two blocks.
