WALNUT CREEK – UC San Diego's Emily Osga has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 28-Feb. 3.
The San Diego native led the Tritons in claiming two road victories over Cal State L.A. and Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Osga averaged 22 points per game after shooting 59 percent (16-for-27) from the floor, which included sinking eight three-pointers on the weekend.
Saturday night, she led the conference and team with 28 points scored, after making nine field goals, including six from the arch and making a perfect four-for-four from the free throw line.
On the weekend, the senior guard totaled 44 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists, and a steal.
