WALNUT CREEK – Sonoma State's Patrick Scott has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 12-18.
Scott led the Seawolves to a 1-1 weekend, which included handing Dominican (Calif.) University their first loss of the season in a 91-87 overtime victory. He also led the Seawolves with 28 points in their eight-point loss to MSU on Friday night.
The senior guard from Grass Valley earned All-Tournament honors at the Sonoma State hosted, 12th Annual Ron Logsdon Basketball Classic after averaging 21 points per game. Scott shot 14-for-20 from the field, 5-for-8 from the three-point line, and was 9-for-10 from the free-throw line.
On the weekend he also tallied 10 rebounds and dished out six assists.
