Mitchel Anderson, Cal Poly Pomona
WALNUT CREEK – Cal Poly Pomona's Mitchel Anderson has been named the Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 10-16.
The senior guard lead the eighth ranked Broncos in a 69-47 win against Humboldt State on Saturday night.
Anderson recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds against the Lumberjacks, after shooting 7-for-15 from the paint, two-for-three from the free throw line, and sinking two from the arch.
The Temecula native also dished six assists in the Broncos offensive efforts.
