Saturday Men's Basketball Recap

WALNUT CREEK – All 12 California Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball programs wrapped up weekend play on Saturday night.

Cal State L.A., Cal State San Bernardino, Cal Poly Pomona, Chico State, San Francisco State, and Cal State Dominguez Hills concluded weekend play with wins.

The Broncos captured their 10th consecutive win and are the first CCAA team to clinch post-season berth after a 23-point victory over UC San Diego.

Despite falling last night to the No. 4 Broncos, Cal State San Bernardino had another strong offensive night with a 25-point (93-68) win against Humboldt State.

Chico State nabbed their first road win in almost of a month of conference play, defeating Sonoma State and holding on to a fifth place ranking among the conference standings.

The Gators have been on a hot streak as well, with four consecutive wins recorded SFSU has moved into third in the CCAA standings, while Cal State Dominguez Hills improved to 8-8 in confernce play after Saturday's win at Cal State Monterey Bay.
