WALNUT CREEK – UC San Diego's Ryan Goodbrand has been named the Rawlings/California Collegiate Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week for the weekend of Feb. 1-3.

Defending Co-Newcomer of the year, Goodbrand earned his first win of the season in the Tritons 6-2 victory against Colorado Mesa on Friday afternoon.

In 5.0 innings pitched he allowed just three hits without a single walk and of the 15 outs that he registered, six were on strikes and four more were on ground balls.
