Make-A-Wish Foundation 2005-06
2005-06 was the third year of the Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraising campaign for both Division II and the CCAA. The CCAA SAAC raised $10,787.31, which ranks second of all Division II conferences nationwide. Cal State Stanislaus contributed $4,021.00, the most of any CCAA institution and the second-most of any Division II institution. Sonoma state raised $1,710.68, second in the CCAA and seventh overall. For the second straight year, the CCAA had 100% participation rate from its institutions, one of the only conferences to accomplish that goal. The NCAA raised over $114,000 overall.
In 2004-05 the CCAA SAAC raised $5,100.57, fourth among Division II conferences.
The CCAA SAAC's goal was to raise approximately $1.00 for every student-athlete at each member institution.
