Karla Santos Selected as CCAA Volleyball Player of the Week
SAN RAMON, Calif. – Cal State L.A. freshman Karla Santos has received the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Volleyball Player of the Week accolade for the week of Sept. 18 through Sept. 24.
A native of Manati, Puerto Rico, Santos put together an impressive performance on the road last week. In leading the Golden Eagles a five-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills, she totaled 30 kills with 26 digs.
Santos remains at No. 1 on the CCAA leaderboard for kills per set. The Golden Eagles will return to action on Saturday with a 7 p.m. home match against Humboldt State.
