WALNUT CREEK — California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) regular-season champion UC San Diego, along with Cal Poly Pomona and Humboldt State, had a total of three players named to the 2010 All-CCAA team that was announced on Tuesday.
UC San Diego sophomore guard Chelsea Carlisle highlighted the list as she was named the conference’s Most Valuable Player after averaging 17.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.1 steals a game in CCAA play. Cal State East Bay center Lauren Lucchesi was tabbed Freshman of the Year and UC San Diego's Tiffany Hunter was selected Newcomer of the Year.
