CCAA Director of Championships and Marketing The CCAA is accepting applications for a Director of Championships and Marketing to begin until the position is filled. Responsibilities will include a) oversight of all CCAA championships and championship events, b) coordinate marketing activities for the conference, c) fulfill sponsorship agreements, d) coordinate the sports awards program, including the presentation and distribution of awards, e) coordinate championship publications and programs, f) arrange the hotel accommodations and banquets at championships, g) coordinate the CCAA merchandise program, h) attend championships and select conference meetings, i) assist with the day-to-day office operations, j) other duties as assigned by the Commissioner. Qualifications for applicants are a minimum of two years experience in championships/marketing/sponsorship/sports information or a related field. Must have an understanding of NCAA Division II. Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. Experience with Apple Macintosh computers and a variety of computer programs, including Word/Works and Excel required. Candidates should have excellent communication and writing skills as well as strong organizational ability and knowledge of marketing Division II college athletics. The Director of Championships and Marketing will report to the Commissioner. Occasional night and weekend work is required.
